Thank you for your support with an excellent return to school following the half term holiday. This week we say farewell to our year 11 and 13 students and look forward to celebrating this milestone with them.
After so many months of restrictions it has been a delight to see all year groups back with after school activities and we are gradually increasing the number of opportunities available.
Whilst temperatures are forecast to be above 23 degrees we have adjusted our policy on the wearing of blazers. Students must arrive at school wearing their blazer and come through the gate with their blazer on. During the day they will not be required to wear their blazer.
We will review this decision on Friday 18th June for the following two weeks. If the weather becomes cooler, blazers will then be required for movement between lessons and going out to break and lunch.
We run PE Zero Hour four mornings a week for different year groups from 8am – 8.30am, students arrive in their PE kit and then change into their uniform at 8.30am
Monday – year 9
Tuesday – year 10
Thursday – year 7
Friday – year 8
Students do not need to book. They should arrive at 8am at the front pedestrian gate on their allocated morning. Students arriving after 8:05am will not be able to complete zero hour and will need to change before going into tutor time.
Thank you for your response to the opportunity to sign up as google guardians and be able to see homework being set and completed for your child. We are presently at just under 70% of parents signed up which is an excellent stage to be at. If you need assistance, please email firstname.lastname@example.org so we can support.
