Update – Arrangements for September
This is our second letter over this holiday period to update you on arrangements for September. Please share the contents of these letters with your child(ren) so they are fully aware of the arrangements that will be in place.
Pastoral teams Years 7 to 11
Firstly a reminder of the reorganisation of pastoral staff who have worked so hard to support students over this time.
Mr Nunn is promoted to Deputy Head for Pastoral.
Each year team has the following pastoral staff and our structure of a year based pastoral team will be essential when we are running under the new arrangements in September. These staff will be based in the area of the school for their year group.
|Head of Year||Year Manager|
|Year 7||Miss Lees||Mrs Russell|
|Year 8||Mr Stretch||Mrs Clayton|
|Year 9||Mr Sowemimo||Mrs Sullivan|
|Year 10||Mr Simpson||Mrs Corrigan|
|Year 11||Mr Abbott||Mrs Collins|
Mrs Hockridge (Assistant Headteacher) assumes responsibility for attendance alongside other responsibilities.
Mrs Warwick (Assistant Headteacher) will remain as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.
Thank you for returning the form if your child will be cycling to school in September. We will issue permits to students at the start of term.

To reduce the amount of mixing of students on a daily basis, there will be a staggered start and end to the school day with each year group entering through a different gate. There will also be a staggered break time and lunch time.

Year 7 Induction Days
Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th September are year 7 induction days. Arrival and departure times will change on these days. All students should enter through gate 2. Times will be staggered by their house. If you are planning to drop off or collect your child please arrange this away from the school gates. Please ensure there is no drop off or collect in Rembrandt Way or Landseer Road.
Thursday 3rd September
|House||Arrival time||Departure time|
On Friday 4th September all students should arrive at 8:20am for an 8:30am Tutor time start. They will all leave at 2:50pm. This will be their arrival and departure time on an ongoing basis.
There will be no need for PE kit on these two days. Students should all attend in full uniform and with full equipment. We are looking forward to meeting them all.
We have a reduced food offer from September. To enable a fast and safe service, all our food will be served as a “Meal Deal” @ £2.30.

Packed Lunch Bags are also available as a “Meal Deal” @ £2.30 containing a sandwich, crisps, fresh fruit, biscuits and bottled water.
We will have limited gluten-free and vegan options. It would be helpful to know of these to prepare the right amount of food.
Please ensure your child’s ParentPay account is always in credit.
As we are serving from three different outlets in September it would be really helpful to identify the number of students likely to be opting to purchase food. Please could you complete the form below by Friday 21st August. This is not a commitment to purchase and you will not be charged, but enables us to best plan the amount of food we prepare in the first few weeks.
If you have any queries please do email email@example.com and we will aim to answer them as quickly as possible.
Thank you for your continued support.
