Packing Shed Youth Company is back at Philip Morant giving budding actors, directors, writers and musicians a chance to make their very own show.
Led by Neil D’Arcy-Jones a select group will once again devise all aspects of their production from theme, dialogue, costumes, set design, sound and lighting. They will also perform and direct the piece for family and friends at the end of the ten week block of after school sessions, which will take place every Wednesday from 3pm to 4.30pm (5pm closer to the show)
The cost for this performance project will be covered by the drama department, but tickets for the performance will be available to buy closer to the time. The performance will be on Friday 15th May at 7pm.
The company of actors will be selected from a workshop session on Wednesday 26th February, but if you are interested in a creative/non performing role then please still come and along and chat to Neil and the drama team.
If your child is interested in any of the elements listed above please encourage them to come along and find out more information. We are looking for dedicated students for this project from all year groups (including the college) who understand the importance of teamwork and supporting each other. Please ensure you think about the commitment needed to make this project a success. The effort and commitment for this process could be evidence for a Philip Morant Award.
